What shoes to wear with wide leg trousers
A pointed kitten heel boot is our answer, especially through autumn and winter. Only the toe shows beneath the hem, so the leg stays long and the trouser falls cleanly.
Wear the off white Sakura with cream wide leg trousers and a camel coat, and the outfit stays light even in November. It is just as crisp under charcoal or navy.
The chocolate suede Astra does the same job with navy or black, and looks lovely with cream and burgundy. The wide cuff around the ankle is the detail that makes it.
How to style kitten heels with a midi skirt
The Canna T-bar is pretty with a midi skirt. Its slim strap runs from the pointed toe up to a buckled ankle strap, and we would wear it to an autumn wedding, the races or a birthday dinner with a black midi skirt and a soft grey jumper.
Either ankle boot works with a midi skirt too. Add opaque tights in a colour close to the boot and the leg stays long.
What to wear with leopard print shoes
Cheetah and leopard print shoes are easiest with plain clothes. The Astra slingback is the pair to plan an outfit around: wear it with all black and no other pattern, or with black cigarette trousers and a crisp white shirt, and let the toe peep out under the hem.
