Yaya is the Dutch label we turn to for knitwear with an idea in it: a Nordic yoke on a short sleeved jumper, a collar that buttons on and off, a hood on a wool mix jacket. Founded in 1992, it works in soft natural colours, oatmeal, cream, cocoa and charcoal, that sit happily together from one season to the next.
This autumn our edit is built around the knits. There is a Nordic jacquard jumper in two colourways, wide sleeve funnel necks in oatmeal and charcoal, and cardigans that come with both a faux fur collar and a suede one. The scarf jumper has a collar that folds across one shoulder and unbuttons when your coat has a collar of its own.
Around them sit the pieces that finish a winter outfit. Yaya's leopard faux fur scarf and fingerless mittens come in cocoa and black, alongside cream faux fur cuffs, a small round faux fur bag and a slim brown leather belt.
